Here's a fun reality for the non-Taylor Quick superfans out there: In 2007, new off her prosperity with her 2006 introduction blue grass collection Taylor Quick, Quick discharged a six-tune Christmas collection only through Target. (It was later re-discharged wide in Dec. 2008.) out of appreciation for Christmas and Return Thursday, we're glancing back at Quick's Christmas EP The Taylor Quick Occasion Gathering. 

Notwithstanding Quick putting a nation (and especially young) turn on works of art like "Last Christmas," the discharge is most striking as another early case of Quick's songwriting capacities. The collection highlights two unique tunes: "Christmases When You Were Mine," where she is credited as a co-author for a pondering tune about missing an ex at Christmas, and "Christmas Must Be Something More," a Quick unique about the significance of the occasion.

"Christmas Must Be Something More" is a somewhat more religious tune than is commonplace of Quick. "You'd see that today holds something extraordinary/Something sacred, not shallow/So here's to the birthday kid who spared our lives/It's something we as a whole attempt to overlook/And put a wreath up on your entryway/So here's something you ought to realize that is without a doubt/Christmas must be something more," Quick murmurs on the tune.
